Kitras Glass Vendor History
What's new this week? Kitras Hand made blown glass.
Company History.
Stephen Kitras began work as a glass blower in 1988. He studied at Sheridan College located in Oakville, Ontario Canada. For five years he worked alone handling all the production and administrative tasks. He and his wife Elke then shipped the product out from their dining room table. In 1994 Kitras Art Glass was formed. Stephen and Elke became founding partners of the corporation. At this time, the single most important factor in the company's growth was the start of exports to the United States. By 2001 company sales had increased and a new facility was built to accommodate increased production demands. In 2006 Stephen and Elke's eldest daughter, Sophie, joined the company and she now manages all of the sales and marketing. Stephen continues to be involved in the company, overseeing all new product development, the training of new staff, and when he has time, work on his own art projects. In 1999, the company suffered the loss of Elke Kitras to Leukemia, but the vision that she and Stephen developed for the company continues to thrive.

dress up a room
When Spring hits each year we all want to change up our house. What do you do if you don't have a lot of money. I think a fresh coat of paint will change up any room. This year I am going to paint my dining room. Now what colors do I use? I have gone back and forth deciding on what colors. Since it will be on the wall for a while I have decided on a brown and light blue stripe color. Brown On the bottom and Blue on top. I have looked at color squares all winter so I think I have picked the right color choice for me.
So I think I can do it on a $60 budget. A quick and easy fix.

Wine decor.

This year I have decided to try and do a whole theme around wine and spirits decor. You can choose to decorate your wall to ornaments. The great thing I found out about these fun ornaments is you can use them year round.
1. Hand on windows.
2. hang on house plants by the window or on walls.
Here is some pictures
